Did I tell you guys I love basketball?
This is a new and recent development and if you know me.. loving any sport is a miracle. But, inevitably, the amount of sports that have been on my 42” television since moving in with the boyfriend have infiltrated my brain. While football was only fun for the fact that I got to throw a super bowl party and cook up a storm—basketball, I can actually get. I decided to like Miami Heat. Why? Because the words Miami and Heat are nice. I think they sound better than Oklahoma and Thunder. I apologize to any real fans out there. But seriously, now that I’ve watched 3 games with “my” team, I’m attached to them. I know the basketball finals schedule and have been planning good meals to enjoy the game. The boyfriend wants OKC to win but since I’ve actually shown some dedication to my team, he isn’t jumping down my throat about rooting against him. Besides, I love shouting out “get outta here SEFALOSHAAA!!” and laughing at the fact that Bosh looks like a prehistoric creature.
Side note: if I had court side tickets to these games, I’d bring my shoe A-game. Ladies, what were you and Payless thinking?!
